“When I was hungry, you gave me something to eat, and when I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When I was a stranger, you welcomed me, and when I was naked, you gave me clothes to wear. When I was sick, you took care of me, and when I was in jail, you visited me."

Those were the words of Jesus concerning social justice and compassion. They still echo true in our busy and sometimes, unsympathetic, world.

The World Influence board met recently to discuss the transformation of the World Influence Ministry into a charitable organization. There was an overwhelming support for the idea, and steps have been taken already towards that aim. The board and members resolved to effectively carry out these words of Jesus into a practical drive that will result in meeting the practical needs of our community. [More]
